RFID end to end

A garment that announces itself

A small UHF RFID inlay in the swing tag or care label gives every piece its own identity. Readers pick up many tags at once, without a line of sight. YufuAir turns those reads into stock, documents and decisions.

Many at once

A reader sees a whole rail, shelf or carton in one sweep – no scanning item by item.

No line of sight

Tags are read through bags, boxes and folded stacks.

Every piece unique

Not just "a medium blue shirt" – this shirt, with its own history.

Barcodes still work

Tagged and untagged items live side by side while you roll out.

Seven moments where the tag does the work

The same identity is read at each step. Nobody types quantities that the system can see for itself.

  1. Encode at the source

The factory or the supplier prints the swing tag and encodes its RFID inlay with a serialised identity built from the item's barcode. Labels are designed in YufuAir, so the right style, colour, size and price are on every tag.

  2. Pack and ship

Cartons are read as they are closed. The packing list is built from what is really inside, not from what should be.

  3. Receive

The warehouse or store reads each carton on arrival and compares it with the shipping notice. A missing piece is flagged with its exact tag, not a vague "one short".

    Discrepancies by tag
  4. Move between locations

Transfers are read out and read in. Stock in transit is visible, and so is anything that went astray on the way.

  5. Count, any day

Staff walk the floor and the stockroom with a handheld reader, zone by zone. Differences are listed by item, and adjustments go through approval before they touch the books.

  6. Sell and return

The till reads the tag, sells that exact piece and records it. A return is checked against the original sale – the piece coming back is the piece that left.

  7. Sell online and replenish

Accurate store stock feeds the online pool, and AI proposes what to send where. Your team approves, and the cycle starts again.

Questions we hear

RFID, without the jargon

The short answers. Book a session and we will go through your own products and stores.

Do we have to tag everything at once?

No. Most teams start with new seasons or one product group. Untagged stock keeps working with barcodes, and counts report tagged and untagged items separately.

Can our suppliers tag for us?

Yes. Suppliers and factories can print and encode tags from YufuAir's label designs, so goods arrive ready to read.

Does a tag carry customer data?

No. A tag carries an item identity only. Customer and sales data stay in YufuAir, behind its access controls.

How does RFID stop stock drifting?

Because counting is fast, you can count often. Differences are found while they are small, explained item by item, and corrected through approved adjustments.

What happens at the till?

The till reads the tag of the piece being sold. Stock, the receipt and the ledger all refer to that exact piece, which also makes returns easy to check.

Start with one store or one season

We will help you pick the tags, the devices and the first products to tag – and show you what the counts look like on day one.
